Generator successfully installed at leading UK Laboratory

Our client required us to install a 910 kVA open Generator for a Laboratory in Oxfordshire.  The requirement was to include the facility to add an additional set at a later date. This project was a very challenging install with low noise requirements, very limited space and cooling air flow restricted to just one wall of the plant room.   The generators had to be Mains Synchronised for a no break transfer when switching and had a 15,000 litre bulk tank for extended running time during long power cuts.

Connection from the bulk tank to the day tank used double skin flexible pipework with leak detection to give our client extra peace of mind.  We at shentongroup worked with the client from an early stage in the project coming up with preliminary design suggestions and finally working up to a fully functional operational package. Delivery, offloading and positioning were managed by our expert Projects and Engineering teams.
