Backup Power Solution for British Car Manufacturer

We at shentongroup cater for any industry sector, so when a client came to us needing help with a backup power solution on behalf of a prestigious British Car Manufacturer we were only too pleased to help. For this project we supplied a shentongroup Powerhouse Series diesel generator model PHG440Iv which is capable of producing a maximum standby output of 440kVA at 400 Volts, 3 phase, 0.8 power factor, 50Hz @ 1500rpm with a prime power output of 400 kVA to BS5000 and BS5514 standard and an adjacent 2750 litre usable fuel day tank.

An Iveco CURSOR 13TE3A industrial diesel engine was used as it is designed to comply with ISO3046, BS5514 and DIN6271.

The generator is manufactured in a weatherproof and acoustic canopy and was designed to achieve a noise level of 70dB(A) @ 7 metres in free field conditions at 100% load.

A heavy duty fabricated steel base frame incorporating a fuel bund was installed within the generator acoustic canopy. The generator canopy comes complete with a Deep Sea controller and Anti-vibration mounts were fitted between the engine/alternator and base frame.
